What Is Turing Cup?

Turing Cup is the annual flagship competitive programming contest organised by SIESGSTarena - the CodeChef SIESGST Campus Chapter. Currently in its second year, it will be held every spring, with the Qualifier round scheduled in February, and the on-site Finale at the SIESGST Campus in March.The Turing Cup celebrates the spirit of competitive programming and encourages the best programmers from GST and beyond to apply their wits at challenging problem statements to arrive at the most intuitive and efficient solution possible. The Turing Cup is named in honour of Alan Turing - the father of the modern computer.

How It Works?

Register and compete in Turing Cup's Online Qualifier Round. It lasts 36 hours, but a strong contestant won't need that long to earn the round’s qualifying point minimum.

We’ll bring the top 20 contestants from Turing Cup Qualifier Round to our onsite Finals. There, they’ll compete for the championship title and prizes.

    Register individually following the procedure given in registration section.

  • Registration Ends

    Registration ends on 14th February 11:59 PM.

  • Qualifier Round

    Top 10 from SIES Graduate School of Technology, Nerul and top 10 from various colleges will qualify for the Onsite Finals.

  • Onsite Finals

    Onsite Finalists will be competing for the Turing Cup 2019 Champion Title!


  • Entry fee for participating in Turing Cup 2019 is ₹50
  • Pay via Cash or UPI as per your option selected in registration form
  • Registrations are closed
  • Receive contest link for Qualifier on 15th February and make your way to the finals


How is it conducted?

Turing Cup 2019 comprises of the following rounds:
Qualification Round:
Qualification round consists of an online contest which will be conducted on 16th and 17th February, 2019.
Onsite Finale:
It will be conducted in SIES Graduate School of Technology, Nerul.

How do I register?

All participants have to pay via Cash / UPI and fill a registration form. Deadline for filling the form will be 14th of February 11:59 PM

What if I have been never to a programming contest?

Turing Cup is the best way to start. Our aim is to provide a place to learn in a short amount of time, interact and learn from other like minded people.

Can I refer to internet during contest?

Yes. We do encourage referencing of online resources in case of any difficulty but any form of plagiarism will be met by strict action.

What should I carry along for the finals?

Any valid Identity Proof or College ID Card

What will be provided?

You will provided with a workstation and Internet connection for competing. You will be provided with stationery materials if necessary.

What are the Prizes and Certificates?

Prizes worth 10,000 are to be won. Goodies and Certificates will be given to all the finalists.
